Over a thousand guests visited The Renaissance at Kelham Hall for the Kelham Hall Beer and Cider Festival
More than 1,500 visitors attended the first beer and cider festival at a historic hall.
The Renaissance at Kelham Hall hosted the festival in association with CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale).
It featured more than 150 varieties of beer and 30 ciders from breweries across the country.
The prestigious Champion Beer of Britain judging event took place, where Crouch Vale — Amarillo was named the winner.
It was one of several beers and ciders to sell out during the weekend, along with rare beers from the American Beer stand.
The Blue Monkey Brewery, based in Nottingham, also saw a number of their casks empty.
Throughout the four-day event, there was live music, including performances, from The Oompah Band, The Street Hawks, Beggar’s Belief and Donovylan.
The family-friendly festival also included quiet spaces and entertainment for the young ones, including JJ’s Magic Show and Entertainment.
There was a range of food on offer, including a hog roast.
As some guests visited for the day, others chose to return for multiple days, with some people choosing to stay onsite in motorhomes or campervans.
Olivia Mawditt, marketing assistant at Kelham Hall, said: “Our goal was to create a vibrant, inclusive atmosphere that celebrates the rich tradition of British brewing, and the response has been incredible.
“With over 150 beers, 30 ciders, live music, family-friendly entertainment, and great food, the festival brought together a wonderful community of beer enthusiasts, families, and local supporters.
“Partnering with CAMRA to host the Champion Beer of Britain was an honour and seeing Crouch Vale’s Amarillo crowned Champion made for an unforgettable experience.
“We’re excited about what the future holds for more festivals at the Renaissance at Kelham Hall.”
